When it comes to teens, they can often be stubborn. (just like us when we were that age.) Do the best you can, as a parent to keep an open relationship with your child. Encourage communication and hope that they will use their best possible judgement. When all else fails....
1) Lock her in her room. If you have one, a bell tower would work better. Throw the key in the bottom of the lagoon.
2) Invest in a good sturdy chasity belt. Glue it on.
3) Teach her at a young age that boys are the devil...the devil I tell ya!
4) Invest in a plastic bubble. Germs are not the only thing a bubble can keep out!
5) Don't cut the umbilical cord. Your child will never be more than a few inches away at all times.
6) Lock them in the attic. Homeschool them. Never allow them to see the light of day.
7) Get a child leash. I have seen teenagers at the malls in collars, so this may actually be a style.
8) Open a free babysitting service for the brattiest kids around. Your teen will be the babysitter.
9) Learn to accept it. Help her get birth control or be prepared to pick out baby beds.
10) Do not do any of the above. Instead, lead by example. Love and support your child. Always keep your door open and make time for family. Do not alienate your child, and pray when the time comes...they will come to you.
