For Mama
I'm sorry for the things I might have done
For all of the awards I haven't won
I'm sorry for the chances I let by
I'm sorry if I ever made you cry
I'm sorry for the words I never said
For all the worries I put in your head
I'm sorry for mistakes that I have made
I'm sorry for all the prices that you paid
I wish I could have always seen your smile
For you were right beside me all the while
I wish I could have eased your weary mind
I wish we could have had a bit more time
I'm sorry if I ever made you sad
For only knowing you has made me glad
I'm sorry if I ever broke your heart
I'm sorry that we ever had to part

Poetry: Scars
There are marks upon my skin,
Pale reminders of days gone by.
The bleeding was staunched long ago,
But to claim they no longer
These scars that crease my heart

The age of innocence has passed away
and only dreams
The scars of my heart run deep
I have never healed from you
you are the reason for my being the reason for me to breath

Scars that

"Dig It"
My eyes are closed, I remember the hurt.
The lies are open, but I'll never avert.
You're under my skin, buried deep
