When I think back to the young me and young you,
And reflect on the years we have shared.
There is nothing I would change in the life we spent,
Or the memories together we have made.
We knew so little about one another
When we decided to share our lives,
But we had love, passion and a zest for life,
And for us, those were enough.
We laughed a lot in our younger days,
And fought as hard as we loved.
We learned one another’s hearts like our own.
I can’t imagine life without you by my side.
Now there are silver hairs on both of our heads,
With even a wrinkle or two.
I love the way we were way back then;
But Baby, we are dynamite now!
