The importance of editing

Editing is like cleaning up after cooking a meal. The importance of editing can not be overemphasized. The more articles you write, the more important it becomes not to skip the basics such as editing.

Congratulations! You've just written an article. This is, let's see, probably the 200th article you've written since you began writing on the Internet.

Income has been steadily increasing. You've quickly learned all the tricks of the trade, as we may call it. Those magic keywords; the crisp catchy title; the popular topic. And, of course, the networking.

Yeah, you're an old hand at the game by now. It's come down to a race against yourself. How many articles can you churn out in a day? That's the whole objective now - the maximum number of articles you can produce every day.

Time is of the essence. You can't spend too much time on any one article. You've set a deadline for yourself: This many hours per article. Discipline is the key. And you are strong on discipline. You don't waste time on minor things.

You work by the dictum: An express train does not stop at minor stations. Translated into article writing: A high volume producer does not stop to check on minor details. And what are these minor details, these irritating cosmetic touch-ups?

And you're a fast typist. As your fingers whiz over the keys, you may inadvertantly, wait a second, was that an "a" or an"e" in that word? No, I think it should be inadvertently. Anyway, I bet you even the reader doesn't know the correct spelling. Hurry up; got to move on. So, what was I saying? Oh yes. If you inadvertantly, shucks, I'm still not sure of the spelling. I'll use a simpler word instead. If you accidently, no, accidentaly, no, acci...

This is crazy! I was supposed to have finished this article by now. These stupid spelling rules! Anyway, the reader will know what I mean. (If the reader has any brains to begin with.) It's amazing what the reader will swallow. They read faster than you can write. And they don't have time to worry about spellings and grammar and stuff like that.

Just tell them how to lose weight quickly. How to make money online. Tell them who got
