Out of place
I try and state my case
With one foot in the grave
I can’t afford to be brave
Without any balance I write
Miserable I stand and try to fight
Yesterdays mistakes haunt me
In my future I can never be free
I can never belong
I will never be strong
Yearning to make right what I made wrong
My shadow mocks me
I can’t stand my ground
I long so much to be
Be somewhere
Anywhere
Be around
I want to feel sound
Be heard
Never again feel out of place and butchered
I thank my lies
Forever out of place to me applies
