The isle of Key West, Florida is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the United States. No wonder, with gorgeous beaches and a warm, sunny climate, Key West has one of the most relaxing atmospheres in the world. Still, it is a relatively small island, boasting a population of fewer than 30,000 people. The result is, even though the entire island is dedicated to tourism, the choice of accommodation in Key West is limited to a small but excellent group of resorts.

Four-Star Accommodation

If you’re looking for luxury, Key West has ample to spare. In particular, the Santa Maria Suites Resort has a wide variety of amenities and is located one street over from the Atlantic Ocean. The resort is more all-inclusive and, besides the pool, features a board room, fishing, snorkelling, diving, massage and billiards. Inside your room you will find a complete luxurious furnishing with a flat screen TV, king size bed and iPod docking station.

Three-Star Accommodation

For something in a more conservative price-range, you don’t have to give up top-quality if you don’t mind sacrificing location. The perfect example of this would be The Truman Hotel, a fantastic hotel that’s only minutes away from the beach. While you won’t find all the services available at a resort, you will find the same quality rooms and the hotel also features a deluxe pool. The large rooms themselves feature both an iPod docking station and a flat screen TV, with a king size bed, desk and any other furnishings you would find at home. With a trendy design and a fun atmosphere, The Truman Hotel is sure to appeal to everyone.

If you have to be on the beach, the Ocean Key Resort & Spa would be the perfect alternative. Overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, the resort boasts arguably the best location in Key West. With Mallory Square just steps away, visitors can browse a variety of shops and restaurants in an area with both small town and breathtaking resort qualities. The resort itself is nothing horrible, either, with both a bar and restaurant, fitness center, fully furnished rooms and, of course, a pool.

Two-Star Accommodation

If you’re on a tight budget, you can still comfortably experience Key West with the hidden An Island Oasis. Far from squalor, Island Oasis features clean, charming hardwood rooms with free Wi-Fi, a dipping pool, BBQ services and a fantastic location that’s minutes from both the beach and Key West’s downtown area.
