The United States is in a challenging economic condition in the year of 2011 because there are still a great deal of Americans out of work, or working in jobs which are two or three grades below their potential. The lack of jobs for even the new college graduates is also hurting the economy, people are not spending money because of the higher prices of gasoline, rising prices in the food stores, and others including the seniors are having a hard time paying their bills. Here are some economic conditions which need to be addressed by the federal government and other states with the capacity to help the country now.
Many American are in deep debt.
American workers from the age of early twenties to the seniors are having a difficult time paying their bills, many are forced to increase their credit card balances with the high food and gasoline and auto prices today. Even when they cut their budget to the lowest possible amount, there are still bills that must wait to be paid next month. This is hurting their credit scores, which can affect their finance charges in future purchasing or may affect their ability to buy a house someday. The Standard and Poor rating service cut the credit rating for the United States.
The United States had their credit rating reduced.
The United States has owned a AAA credit rating, one of the highest ratings in the world since l917, and this credit rating was given because of the ability of the United States to be able to pay their bills on time, and keep debt level at a minimum. Now Standard and Poor Rating firm, a division of McGraw-Hill, reduced United States credit rating to a AA, from a high AAA score. This may stay with the United States for a number of years, until they can show they have reduced their debt low enough to warrant the AAA rating back. Everyone is also losing production of many products to other countries.
We need to ship more product overseas.
We need to compete more with countries that are stealing our former customers, and taking many of our factory jobs overseas. This is crucial to help build the economy, the people in Washington must work on this problem to help American businesses to sell worldwide, not just in the United States. Jobs are crucial.
Summary. American workers need good jobs today, and the federal government must build a national computer, with a listing of all the jobs open in America from Maine to California in all fifty states so that the unemployed and part time workers and others can get on this computer and choose a state, city, and then apply directly for the jobs. Education must be available for people out of work; they need to go back to school life-long to become a life-long worker always learning to keep their jobs.
