Poetry: Between the lines

by E Kuzmenko

Created on: August 12, 2011   Last Updated: August 15, 2011

They danced like acute angles
shimmered in the depths of perception
sang songs of silent deception
and reeked of dreams unearthed in fake conception.

Plausible egalitarianism sighs
at the sight of hinted desire
that breathes consequences dire.

Brings the soul to the edge
lines the pencil with a thread
hides the color of the needle
 as it pushes,
between the lines.
