Poetry: In the rain

by Natilee Stobaugh

Created on: August 12, 2011

The sky is crying.

I wonder,

Why is it so sad?

It feels nothing,

So can it be glad?

So depressing,

So dark,

These clouds,

Have they no heart?

They sit and watch,

As all beneath dies.

It pours down on us,

And reveals our lies.

Does it really care?

This stormy sky?

For if it does not,

Then why must it cry?
