Assessing ethnic issues in today's America

To go to a different country, you will realize one thing mainly that sets the Untied States apart from everywhere else, ethnic differences. When you go to Japan, the Majority is Japanese people, with their own culture, their own rules, and way of doing things. Unlike other countries is what has made America the greatest, and the worse country. I am patriotic, I am an American, I was born and raised, I'm classed as a "majority" in America, I am Caucasian... or just plain white. T he issues surrounding our problems, is the fact that there is too much diversity in our country, different people living in one country, each group wanting things their way. I am not racist, but do believe that the religious and ethnic diversities in our country are what is dividing us as a country. Call is sibling rivalry, we love each other, we just really shouldn't live under the same roof, so to speak. America has become a "people pleaser" and in essence has lost it's own culture and significance in the world. America should not be the "melting pot" this is why there are hundreds of different "religions", or even allowed languages. This is why the social ladder is almost impossible to climb. Opposites might attract...but that does not mean they always get along. The sources of our violence, and criminal activity, as well as racial issues, are not blamed on one particular group, it's a joining of several, that continually set us aside from the outside. We can have diversity, but just with color, an American can be any color, size or shape, but should have the same principles, and moral grounds as every other red blooded American, pride, for our traditions our culture, with out worrying about what other countries think...Do other countries actively revolt against others, because of the way they greet each other, or by the way the may point, or enter a room. Do the have problems with religious differences, yes, but not as much as we do...once you enter America, legally, you should have to learn our language, learn our culture, and try to blend with our nation, rather then stand out like a sore thumb. If you so badly want to be an American, then be an AMERICAN! Not a Spanish-American, or an African-American, or an Asian-AmericaN...be just an AMERICAN!
