Besides the atheists, we all believe that there is some kind of higher power that makes all things possible. You need some higher power to believe in. After all, where do our blessings come from? Who do we turn to in our most trying times? What about those unique and unexplainable moments, that we often refer to as "coincidences"? As Jaime, played by

Mandy Moore, says in "A Walk To Remember", nothing is coincidence. There are many reasons to believe in God.  

How do we explain our intuition? How do we explain it, when things fall into place, that we once thought would fall apart, how do we explain something like that? What about when we get advice we needed, without asking for it, right when we needed it? What about when we are weak and need the strength be strong, maybe to battle something like addiction? We pray about it and the strength comes. How many people do you know, who were given a diagnosis by a doctor, only to prove the doctors completely wrong? Miracles do happen, and they are reason number one to believe in God. He is the one to make them happen.

There are inevitable moments in every person's life, when your faith is put into question. However, we should never completely stray from our faith in something bigger than ourselves. We've all gotten angry at God at least once in our lives. There are times when you'll find yourself asking, "If there was a God, would He really put me or my loved ones through this?". The answer is yes. However, God doesn't put us through trials and tribulations to torture us or be cruel. The saying "God doesn't give us any more than we can handle" is very true. We go through hard times and are given obstacles because God is trying to prove to us that we are as strong as He knows we are and we may not know it yet. Even when we think we cannot take anymore hardships being thrown at us, we prevail because of God. Everything happens for a reason. Always remember and trust that "If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it". We come out more patient, stronger and wiser through these hard times, and that in itself is a blessing.  

If you stop and think about it, if you allow yourself to ponder the possibility, you will find many reasons to believe in God. If you stop and think for a moment, you will realize that many otherwise unexplainable incidences, can only be possible through God. Everything in life, both a triumph and a tragedy, has a lesson behind it that God is trying to teach us, to help us on this journey called "Life".
