Friends For Shore
The ocean and the sand were as close as they could be
The sand lay on the bottom, crushed by life's adversity
"You move me lovely lady" said the sand so far from shore
The ocean stirred the sand and let him dance like never before
He felt such joy in her embrace, they danced into the night
She carefully supported him and brought him to the light
And in that glorious light she danced him right up on the beach
Until her time of ebbing came and he was out of reach
Though she tried to turn the tide, it wasn't meant to be
The ocean had to wave goodbye and set her buddy free
And so it's true of sand and surf, and will be till the end
The two can dance in sweet romance, but never really blend.

Sea & Land - The tide
The ocean waves call to me from a distance
A wild animal as if caged, its will not allowed to be

I would swim with you under sea

Waves, dragging, merciliess,
Force me to jump from cove to cove
As the sands of time pour down my pants,
I stop to think a while
Of kings and queens and the magistrate
in a fiefdom

Yet you remain unmoved.
