We wander through life burdened by a past we cannot change
Our perception of the world shaped by the lens of history
For some the image is warped, an unkind world filled with sadness
For others, kindness shines a light so we cannot see the darkness
A glass half empty or a glass half filled, it is up to each of is to decide
We live for tomorrow, a fairytale land where all our dreams come true
Work no longer defines us, we are free to live those dreams
Of endless leisure, of financial security, spending time with loved ones
To travel and experience the wonders of the world in which we live
But as the past has passed, the future is a tomorrow that never comes
We exist in the here and now, this precious gift we call 'the present'
So breathe deeply, feel alive and seek pleasure in the simple things
Savour the company of those you love, open yourself to them, listen
Experience nature, find beauty in everything that you see
Find work that isn't defined as work and live in the moment - this is now
