Perfectly Imperfect
I’m not perfect, there are bruises and scars all over my skin
I’m slowly falling apart from within
A broken heart is like a brother to me
Pain is as close as family
I’ve been cracked, I’ve been broken
I’ve been hurt by words said and those unspoken
I’ve been to the darkest depths of hell
I’ve been burned, seared, the memory I remember too well
I laugh through tears that could make up seven more seas
I’ve been drowned by a thousand miseries
I’ve bled so much that I no longer feel
I have cuts that still refuse to heal
The sting of the past has left me with a negative effect
This is who I am, I’m perfectly imperfect.

I can't help but be sincere.
The way I perceive and remember
