Joy bubbles up
From deep inside,
More than a feeling,
It’s an overall high.
Where does it come from?
We wonder why, cause
When it goes we want to cry.
Oh Joy will you not stay with me, and
Be my strength, my friend my glee?
Joy, you are my very soul,
The one the very stars foretold.
Like a gypsy reader you lead me on
Into the mind of days by gone.
Oh joy, its been a real ride, but
The pendulum slips to the other side,
So now I’ll close my eyes in sleep
When joy is gone I begin to weep.
Cry not now, sleep, sleep, sleep.
