The anticipation,
of meeting mom and dad.
I will make them happy,
the perfect child.
A gift from God,
the possibilities limitless.
But where is the singing?
Love's soft touch.
Unfriendly voices,
sadness abound.
A strange feeling,
resentment, it cannot be.
Hatred and guilt,
my suspicion confirmed.
It's not meant to be.
i will never see my mother's smile,
or my father's warm embrace.
I will never have dreams,
or a first kiss.
I am, just one of the many,
unwanted children.
