A Master bedroom is the one place that you want to keep fresh and inviting, with a comfortable warm feeling. Looking around  the room, you may be realizing you have had the current look for a while and now has come the time to give it a new look and one that will rejuvenate the ambiance and the atmosphere of the master bedroom, with a few helpful makeover ideas.

If you want to go all out and do some majors changes, you could paint the walls and trim a new more exciting color than the current one, maybe add some wall paper or a nice wide border trim, either at the top of the wall by the ceiling or as a chair rail in the middle of the walls.

Maybe you want to do some more simple things, which will have a large impact on the over-all appearance as you enter the room. Such as changing the arrangement of how the furniture is currently set up in the room. If there is spare room once you move things around, you could create a small sitting area with a nice plush chair situated in a corner, or next to a window.

Purchasing a new bedding ensemble in an eye catching design, mixed in with curtains to match and choose a  few new throw pillows with the same colors as in the comforter to scatter around the bed and maybe toss one on the new chair. If your husband is more of a romantic than a hard core mans man, you could add some lace features to the window dressings, or on some of the throw pillows. Lace has a way of create a lure of romance and mystery to the atmosphere, and what better place than in the master bedroom.

Changing the type or style of lighting that you have in your master bedroom can have a huge impact on the entire room, taking it from a regular bedroom with bright standard lights, to a dimmer switch that allows you to change the amount of light that is displayed in the room. New bedside lamps to go with the new look and colors of the comforter.

Hanging a nice large picture, or some type of wall art, is a good way to create a central focal point that draws the eye of anyone that enters the room. Choose something special that reflects the personality and attitudes of the people that live in and share this master bedroom.

Another big thing to consider when doing a master bedroom makeover is to reduce the amount of clutter sitting around and taking up space. You will be amazed at how much free room you actually have, when you find a place for all the things that seem to collect dust in the room. Free up that table and add a nice vase with some fresh flowers to add a splash of color and some life to the room.
