Article ToolsWith summer fast approaching, here is a wonderful, refreshing dessert that children and adults will adore. It's a little twist on the old strawberry pretzel dessert.
You will need:
2 2/3 cup crushed fat pretzels
1 1/2 cup soft margarine
3 tsp. sugar
Cream together and press into a 9 X 13 inch pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
8 oz. Cream Cheese
1 large Cool Whip
1 cup powdered sugar
Cream together and spread over crust.
1 large (16oz.) strawberry Jello
2 cups hot water
1 (16oz.) frozen strawberries, thawed
Mix water and jello until dissolved. Add frozen berries. Pour over cream cheese mixture. Chill. Spread cool whip over the top.
Serve this at your next summer BBQ, everyone will love it!
