Poetry: Jesus Christ

by Max Grim

Created on: July 30, 2011

What was said,

when God sent his son?

Was a tear shed?

Noticed by none.

When he was miraculously born,

could he already think?

Did his father mourn,

and his heart sink?

As he grew,

how hard not to sin?

He already knew,

his method of death and when.

How hard was it to speak,

to those that mocked?

Was he really weak,

of was his temper blocked?

When they placed him on the cross,

were the angels there?

Was God at a loss,

or did he simply, stare?

If he died for you and me,

will you ignore his plea?

Are you too blind to see,

or will you set your heart free?
