Situated close to  Broken Arrow, Tulsa, and Muskogee, Haskell, Oklahoma lies amid rolling hills and cattle country. This small town is convenient for those who want the small town feel without all the noise pollution and traffic which comes from living in the city.

With its two convenient stores, four resturants, one grocery store, two dollar stores, automotive repair shop, parts shop, two tire places, bank, utilities, flower shop, beauty shops, men's hair cutting shop,

firestation, ambulance, police station and various churches,  Haskell is set with everything one would need to make living there comfortable.

Some of the historical facts about Haskell can be found at usgennet.org. An interesting attraction near Haskell is John Paul Getty's First oil Well Storage Tank. It was erected in 1916 on a site then known as "Concharty". a lost Creek Nation town.

Haskell also has two wineries closely located to the township itself. The Lavender Hill Winery can be found at 24474 E 191st Street S, Haskell, OK. Lavender Hills is a 60 acre hilltop farm that boasts Oklahoma's largest commercial source of lavender and for the past six years has also included a three acre vineyard. There is also a gift shop and a tasting room should someone want to sample the fine wines offered there.

Stone Bluff Cellars is located at 24145 E 191st Street S, Haskell OK. Stone Bluff Cellars is nestled in the beautiful hill country near the Lavender Hill Winery which isn't far from Haskell. Award winning wines can be sampled in their tasting room where one can relax, and  take in the beautiful countryside. If one is looking to host a bridal shower, reunion, or fundraisers Stone Bluff Cellars would be a great place to host them at.

Phillip and Jackie Ward own the Haskell Antique Auction and on Saturdays you can find them in full swing at 206 N Haskell Blvd (Jct. 64 & Hwy 72)Haskell, Oklahoma 74436.  This is a fun family event you can take your family to, where anyone can bid or watch the quick pace auctioning going on.

When the hustle and bustle of city life might seem to much and the slower pace of a small town sounds appealing and if you're looking for the quiet and charm of night time, with billions of stars lighting the countryside, then Haskell, Oklahoma might be the right place for you.
