Poetry: Weekends

by David Seifert

Created on: July 28, 2011   Last Updated: July 30, 2011

Counting  stars in a galaxy swirling,
Thousands of enthralling lights
How I wish on sleepless nights,
That if I could but reach out and touch
Just one of the shining lights would rush,

Your face, your body, your beauty warming;
My heart, joy heart! On Monday morning
