Poetry: What's on the inside

by Aurora Russe

Created on: July 27, 2011

Speak out, don’t hold it all within

You love to dream:

To spin reality

And color it with yellow bursts of sunlight.

Your essence will come through

Wake up, please do

And shake up

All believers in your might.

Unlock the shutters, throw away the key:

Don’t let them be

Your barrier to the world.

The outside awaits, so many fates

Depend on your bright soul

In their midst… You know I do.
