The Test

Dear loved ones,

I hold your spirits close,

You've lost me this time,

But I'll never let go.

A tragedy it seems,

Came as a surprise,

Though a blessing it was,

In our lords eyes.

I've passed his test,

The test of the earth,

I'm dancing in heaven,

Like the day of my birth.

I've passed his test,

I hope you can see,

Our lord up above,

He called upon me.

I've passed his test,

And now I live free,

With endless joy,

As happy as can be.

I've passed his test,

Now you must wait.

We shall meet again,

At his heavenly gate.
