Tips for single parents: How to take care of yourself

Being a single working mother i often find myself exhausted and barely above water
I am busy paying bills and making sure that my son is not feeling left out. In our spare time we try to spend valuable quality time. I haven't had a date in what seems forever, i hang out only with my kid. when am I going to find time to pamper myself. I was looking in the mirror and i saw this old woman, someone i didn't recognize she was tired and worn down, then I realize that i was using imperfections in my life as an excuse to stay in my rut, well ladies let me tell you.

I realize that i am beautiful and i am a wonderful woman, thats right ladies a woman, the first thing we do as mothers is put ourself last and as single mother we just don't exist, I am guilty of doing just that.

women if we don't put ourself first then how can we talk to our children about taking of themselves, do we want when our kids reminisce they remember there mothers who looked like hell?

Its simple to make time for yourself

when you are getting ready in the morning just take a minute to relax and think about one thing that will make your day less stressful and try to stick to it.

for me its smiling, if i can go all day smiling it makes me feel better and when I feel better I want to look better, and then I want to take better care of myself.

see its the snowball effect.
