Eyes Closed, Mind Open
I met a zeitgeist lady
Who sent me on a trip
Flying through the universe with
Instructions and some tips
I closed my eyes to contemplate
my future, now and past
Before you know it I was dizzy,
Traveling so fast

with carpet and instruction
All I had to watch out for
was tall trees and construction
A bit of wampum, off I went
upon her flying carpet
A bit of flash and fire and woe
and I asked ‘Are we there yet?”
My open eyes, to my dismay
Disproved that zeitgeist found
For there I was, just fine, you see
Still sitting on the ground.

A time traveling magic carpet,
I'd first
