People visit and fall in love with San Diego, California for the sunshine. The beach gets a lot of attention, but there is another great way to enjoy this place. San Diego boasts over one hundred parks for residents and visitors to enjoy. Whether you want to spend a couple of hours playing at the playground with your children, or spend the weekend camping with family or friends, these parks are an excellent way to have some outdoor fun and soak up some of that famous sunshine.
If you are not familiar with San Diego, you may not realize what a huge place it is. There is a huge variety of parks spread all over San Diego County. If you have small children, you will likely choose a park with a playground. There are parks with spray grounds for children to enjoy on a hot day, parks with a variety of athletic fields, dog parks, parks that offer fishing, and many other options. If you are planning a special event, you might consider a park for your location.
