It happened like this,
I told you it's true
with maybe a twist.
a small twist or two,
But basically what I say.
I swear that it's true
Honest to gosh, If it happened to you,
I maybe would doubt,
That you did what you do.
But hear me, please listen
And try not to doubt
It started last night when I let the cat out.
And turning around I heard a small scream,
Something quite errie...almost like a dream.
So I walk to my window and looked down the block.
I saw and old lady and man on a walk
I saw a dog trotting around in the trash.
But what I saw next,
Was a bright glaring flash.
I saw a you woman suspended in space.
with an alien aircraft rotating in place.
So I ran from my window.
And then out the door
And reached the young lady
as she fell to the floor.
I tried to awake her and give her a shake.
I slapped her, then kissed her...that was the mistake.
Cause she opened her eyes and she gave me a slap.
And then hit me with a purse that was laid her her lap.
"but really...really" i tried to explain.
But she had no memory...my words were in vain.
And now as I sit in the station alone.
With out even a lawyer to call on the phone.
She's now pressing charges while having no clue.
So...what would you do if this happened to you.

Death by Accident?
The world came to
a screeching halt with
burning smell of rubber
the heavy noise of
glass, metal, concrete
For those of you that ask,
"Doth exist something above?"
I take the task
To tell you that
There is not now but was,
Above
It happened like this,
I told you it's true
with maybe a twist.
a small twist or two,
But
We kids were all prompt to arrive at the door
for we knew we shouldn’t turn our backs on

Why it happened
I know what happened
Matter of fact
Everyone knows what happened
I don’t need a reminder
Why it happened
