"Eileen Maura"
Why did I have to wake up,
And have you fade away?
It seems that only in dreams,
I can see you, feel your embrace.
It wasn't even supernatural.

I woke up in tears,
Wishing it was real.

I wish I could call you to say,
“I had a dream about you today.”
I miss my best friend.
Hearing your voice would be enough to ease my pain.
