Actually there are bad drivers all over the country but in New York City you will find more of them. Why? Here are some reasons
# They don't have much experience driving since the subway and other public transportation system is really good. So they don't need to drive much anyway. They drive once in a while and don't know how to do it best.
# Too many people on the streets jaywalking and not following the traffic rules. Have you seen people in the big apple just running across the streets not caring about the traffic? Well it is no surprise that many of them get hit and blame "bad drivers".
#Too many cars on the street. So according to probability more chances of accidents and incidents of bad driving.
# And finally, they are in a hurry. New York is a busy city and everyone is in a hurry. So in a rush they don't care much about how they drive.
I hope you have found the reason as to why NY City has such terrible drivers. Stay safe on the road, will ya?
