Oh, why does this anger appear?
I cry bitter tears night and day.
Still; it will not leave me here.
On and on it follows me each day.
I need to know.
Everywhere I go, I feel this pain.
The raw aching in my heart,
my tears are so much like the rain.
This ugly anger will only leave me pain.
I need to know.
My child, my son, my baby,
how can I let you go?
Meant for only a season,
but dear God, I need a reason.
I need to know.
I cannot live this awful way,
you try to pull me down too.
You will not take me with you, death.
No matter how angry; I will stay.
But, Dear God, I need to know.

that I have lost you forever
You have gone to heaven
to be with the other
wonderful people
whom we have known
