Envy's Enormity (The First Epic of the Sin of Jealousy)
Before the time of deadly sin, when we were still naive
And fools would wear their tainted hearts proud upon their sleeves,
There were no inhibitions set because we did not judge,
And each man was to his device, so no one was begrudged.
There was a lowly peasant boy among the rest dispersed.
Envy was his given name and soon to be his curse.
In the town of Evanastre, the origin point of sin,
We lay our scene and Envy's tale. The end doth now begin.
It was a simple business, see, to know one's place in Evanastre.
Peasantry is what you knew and no one man was his own master,
Save for young Duke Sabian, the picture of the pompous prince.
Took control some years back, he did. We have struggled ever since.
As well, the dread Count Moria, whose heartless hand doth crunch the numbers,
Sending countless families to scavenge street sides whilst he slumbers.
Life was surely never easy, but not once did we complain.
Wrath had not been born yet, and so all outbursts had to be feigned.
Conversely, see, the Duke and Count were not entirely to blame,
For Greed, he did not fill his role for some years on. No early fame.
But hold, fair friends, this shall not do. All these distractions early on.
To save time, let us skip ahead, straight to a time of Once Upon.
Envy was an oddish age, neither adult nor bright-eyed child.
Now too old for foolish hope, yet young enough to still get riled
When Moria chose to collect (and yes, it was the dread Count's choice).
When something struck him as unjust, he would let others hear his voice,
And there was someone Envy hoped would always be around to hear.
Enter love, her name, Micaiah, she whom Envy held most dear.
But, like any good love story, Micaiah was unaware
Of Envy's love beyond their friendship, much to Envy's loathe despair.
Along with them, there was a third that rounded out the troupe.
Kindness, Envy called "best friend", though still thought him a dupe.
His opposite in every way, Kindness tended to win
The hearts and minds of everyone, much to his friend's chagrin.
On another plane of existence, the Duke attempted to break
A certain problem's persistence for his own power's sake.
In truth, he was no proper duke, but a stand-in for his late father.
The end was nigh unless he married and of yet, he had not bothered.
Time was very short indeed, so Sabian sought to end this strife.
He promised there to go to town and come back that night with his wife.
A tenser time had not been felt in bold Town Central, Evanastre.

The Green Hat
Once upon a fairy's tale, in a land far away,
Lived a little child who was startled while he traveled
There was once a beautiful girl
She would dance and she would twirl
She was good, sweet, and kind
A better girl you could not
Once upon quite long ago
There lived a maid called Ugly Flo
This homely girl had daddy's nose
And sported cousin Hector's toes
The King of all fairies
in Rhyme-a-lot Land
Made an announcement
Pen and paper in hand
From his balcony up high
He said
Born of ash and cinder
In a life so free from care
Baby Cinderella wakes up,
Breathes incinerated air.
Stumbling through her
