Blurple

Blurple, blurple, blue and purple
Noble stock crown newborn raven
Lost beneath the sleek swamp water
Mirth aboundin', banner wavin'

Within Gaia's fouled elixir
Find a suckleberry here
Make a mad grab, veins pulse blurple
Have you heard a thing so queer?

Then, a shriek strikes night as blurple
As the prize at fingertips
Banshee blue bleeds o'er your pool
Feel thine frozen mind eclipse

Raise your head and kiss the surface
Nature's dark juice coats your eyes
"Give it back!" the specter screams
Through its blurple Earth disguise

Stand ye there with stainéd skin
Violet pigment, bleeding blurple
"Nay, I think I'll keep the prize"
From effrontery, it blush purple

From the bright and shining muck
You greet the old night landscape here
Upon which rainclouds surely vomit
The blurple side to all our fears
