My dear friend means the world to me
We used to devour piles of Oreos and cups of hot coffee.
After wards we'd laugh and talk for awhile
All problems were solved so we'd sit with broad smiles.
However, once the smiles were over we'd find ourselves crying
We became melancholy, time for goodbying.
My friend is now in heaven, left here on the 4th of July
No more problems to solve, no more questioning why.
Angels are all around us, and some you can see
My angel returned to heaven...but will always be with me.

Poetry: For a friend
by Kat Apf
When I heard you were leaving,
I tried to write a poem
but it sounded
a little too much like
Lulu screeching To Sir with Love....
A friend is one who sees your faults
And they will love you anyway
They will always stand by your side
It doesn’t
The words right here are for a friend
who stuck with me through thick and thin
they're really, really hard to find
so many
I see your smile,
shining like the sun.
I see your heart,
and it's a big one.
I see your tears,
streaming down.
I see your
A friend doesn't go behind my back
To steal my man, then send him home
With her private number all over his phone...
Coyly
