"Dancing On Memories"

As I waltz through the shadows, there's a voice.

Calling to me, there is no other choice.

My partner in life, waiting for me.

On the dance floor, waiting is she.

The music starts, as my soul dances.

Our feet in rhythm, perfect stances.

You took my hand, with trusting nerves.

A palette of love, the dance floor serves.

Love in my veins, pump blood in my heart.

Pas De Deux of souls, is a lost art.

Remember the passion in our eyes,

Born again as I slowly baptize.

As our song draws near the end,

I'm blessed to share it with a friend.

If there's a next time, I pray to be.

More than a friend, a lover of thee.

My beating heart, dances through the night,

I'm asleep, but my mind has stage fright.

The hurt I felt, was shed on my true love.

Our memory is real, that's what I'm proud of.
