You will not see them,
As sharp as your sight may be.
Deaf men can hear them,
For their voices penetrate the silence.
They move like shadows,
Invisible to the onlooker's eye.
Listen to the night wind.
Can you hear their call?
They say that one's shriek
Means death is close by.
