What it takes to be a parent

Parenting is a  rewarding experience. It can also be challenging, and difficult at times. The role of mom, and dad  takes a lot of  love, patience, understanding, and a good deal of responsibility. A full time job that continues around the clock, seven days a week, fifty two weeks a year.  Like  anything else  there are easy, and difficult  times that are encountered when one takes on a role, especially one as important as this one when you have the well being of another person, or persons in your care. Parenthood  doesn't always  get easier as it goes on.  It  sometimes get harder as the years progress, and having many years of  experience  will not always make the difficult issues that arise any easier to solve.

There will be times when  the trials and tribulations will increase because of certain stages of development that your child enters.   A  parent should  always have  much  love, patience, be willing to  sacrifice, availability of time, finances, and being  there to guide, help, teach, and raise strong moral valued individuals who will be independent one day and succed  in their lives.. This ideology should always be what a parent embraces in addition to the children they  are lucky enough to have.

A good parent will  make sure their child comes first. They need to be in this  for the long haul. It is not a job you can quit one day, because it becomes too stressful, and difficult.  It is important to understand before venturing on this journey that parents  needs to sometimes sacrifice their own needs to allow their child to be nurtured and loved properly. The best interest of the child should always be top priority.

Parents must be there for their children.  Teenagers have to be supervised for their own good. Giving them too much freedom and no restrictions can create an atmosphere of leniency that may easily create trouble for the child, and parent as well. A parent must  set boundaries, and not be afraid to do so. They should  be the overseers in their child's life. The first teacher for their children who needs to inspire, and awe
