Drug addiction is a common term used to imply a psychological and physiological dependence of a person to a potentially hazardous drugs. It is in such a way psychological as this basically affects mind and/or the mental aspects. It is also coupled to being a physiological dependence because it affects and has concerns about our internal body workings such as metabolism, reproduction and the like.
Just to point out the existence of methamphetamine hydrochloride (popularly known as shabu) a recreational kind of drug; this is totally rampant especially here in the Philippines. It is oftentimes headed or being financed by foreign nationals and one is Taiwan (to mention few). Well, this is not to really point out who are the responsible persons and or nationalities on this. This is just based on the reports we took up.
I would like to stress out why this kind of drug is rampant these days. I would like to consider POVERTY as the main concern after this event. It is clear that people involved in this kind of illegalities earns a lot of money to earn a living. I have known a person who has able to send his children to school and are now professionals after his joining to a dealership. This is another call-to-fight for EMPLOYMENT & HEALTH CRISIS. If only the government could spend the money wisely and kill corruptions, this would not certainly happen.
I am not saying that pushing this kind of drug is potential to earn a living. But this has become an option. This is really a reality. People in the hungry ground fights or kills for money to live and gradually spend for another day.
And I must proud that the government in the Philippines has tried to eliminate (if not to eradicate) this aspect in the community. But then, the worst thing and even most painful is, the everlasting unwise and unefficient use of money and even corruption at all. There are lots of Filipino workers who works hard for the government to stand up. And so we really can't stop them of being hurt after knowing where did their money goes. This is really painful and burden to the common tao.
In this juncture, i would like to call-for-help that the government should take a look at this concern coupled with the fight against employment and health crisis. I am calling all my fellowmen to abide the government policies strictly. Stop drug addiction and lets work together for the benefit of everybody rather than our own. Let's do everything good for the welfare of our country because we will definitely can't do the same when our sun shuts down!
