Turning a CD into a MP3 file is quite simple with the right hardware and programs. Here, in this summary, I will explain how to turn them into MP3's using the two main music-playing programs: Windows Media Player and iTunes, respectively.
You will need: A CD Player, A CD Burner, A CD, Windows Media Player or iTunes
On Windows Media Player
1.) Install Windows Media Player if you already haven't
2.) Pull up and start Windows Media Player
3.) Insert the CD into the CD Burner/Player Drive
4.) Go to Rip, it will be on the top of the screen
5.) The information will pull up on the screen for the CD
6.) Click on Rip Music and the music will be imported to your library
7.) Go to your library and enjoy!
On iTunes
1.) Install iTunes if you already haven't
2.) Pull up and start iTunes
3.) Load the CD into the CD Burner/Player Drive
4.) iTunes will identify the CD and pull up information for the CD
5.) Press Rip Music in the top right section of the screen
6.) You can pick the songs you want by pressing the checks on the left side of the song
7.) Enjoy your newly ripped music!
