Lowering blood pressure with exercise

Hi Friends,
Whenever I feel stressed out I either go for a walk or a swim. I think that swimming is one of the best ways to not only lose weight, but to stay in shape. There is just enough resistance from the volume of water against your body that calories can be burned without over exertion. One can also notice skin tone becomes more taught but silk like to the touch. One does not have to be in the water long . If you are a swimmer, just a couple of quick laps around a pool would do. If one is not a swimmer, just a waist deep walk through the water from one side to the other can be just the right Resistance you need. Also hanging on to the edge of the pool and letting your legs float behind you while paddling them so as you are being thrust forward can provide the exercise needed. Besides keeping you in shape these exercises in the water have been known to relieve stress.
