Exercise and the face.
Have you ever noticed how attractive those smiley wrinkles are ? Well, I have news for you. People don't just acquire them. It's natures way of rewarding them for the effort of smiling. If you also look at people that grimace, what you find as they get older is that their faces are left in a permanent grimace. Looking at both of these, I know which I would prefer to have as I get older, and began smiling like a cheshire cat at the age of 40, worried that I would have a face that looked totally miserable if I did not make the effort.
There are so many muscles in the human face, and people really do not exercise them or see the importance of exercising them until it is too late to do much about it. There are things that you can do in the way of exercise that will improve your face as you get older. Let's talk about a few of these.
Exercising the forehead and eyes.
In order to keep skin subtle around the eyes and forehead, try these exercises in front of the mirror. Once is not enough. Exercise needs to be done on a regular basis to have any effects.
Raised your forehead, hold it in place and then lower it. Move your eyes, stretch your eyebrows. This is an area which really is prone to aging. Smile. Hold the smile in place and then relax. These are exercises that do not hurt and can be done in privacy.
Exercising the mouth.
Use your lips to say the vowels of the alphabet but each time exaggerate each of the vowels moving your lips strongly to create the movement of the vowels. Exercising in this way keeps your lips and mouth firm. Smile, let the smile radiate all over your face using the muscles around the mouth. Hold that exercise and then relax.
Exercising the neck.
The neck is important to the face, since double chins can make a face age before its time. Here move the head from side to side slowly, as far to the right as you can easily manage, hold, and then as far to the left as you can. Do this regularly. Then look up as far as you can without making you giddy, and look down as far as you can to keep the neck mobile and young.
Exercises for the face are good for you and can be done at any time of day, even when visiting the bathroom. There is no excuse for letting your face develope lines and creases that don't need to be there.
All these exercises in conjunction with thought for skin creams for different types of skins, day care, night care, and special care in weather extremes, can make you look younger and consequently feel younger.
