While homicides and accidents take place and lives in every part of the United States, to date there has never been a single proved example of anyone ever being put to death by any state or the federal government, in Florida or elsewhere, for a capital (serious) crime which they did not actually commit. So while the possibility cannot be ruled out, and absent a revocation of the due process protections found in the U.S. and Florida Constitutions, the likelihood of your being put to death in Florida, other than as a victim of a crime or accident, by state action, is virtually nil.
