Lowering blood pressure with exercise

Exercises reduces the blood pressure.But do you know that Blood pressure increases while doing exercise?Walking, jogging, swimming, stair climbing,Cycling are all good exercises to reduce blood pressure.Any physical exercise can reduce blood pressure.Regular exercise is a must and has to be made a routine.This will prevent high blood pressure and reduce the chances of stroke and cardiovascular diseases.

Blood pressure increases with age.Regular exercise is essential to keep blood pressure at bay.There is no need to wait until you become old to begin the exercise regime.If you have high blood pressure,still there is hope as exercise can help you control it.Exercise helps maintain healthy weight,another important factor for controlling blood pressure.The normal BP is 120/80 mm/Hg and a routine exercise prevents it from increasing with age.

Every exercise may be counted under the exercise fitness regime.Aerobic exercises are more effective in controlling blood pressure.There is no need to work out for hours in gym,but any activity that increases heart rate and breathing rate is called aerobic.A 30 minutes of walking 3-4 days a week is sufficient to keep you increasing blood pressure under check.

Before you start an exercise regime,check with the doctor if:
-You are on medication
-You are over the age of 45-50.
-Have chest pain or any chronic health conditions
-If you are obese
-If you are a smoker
-If you are pregnant
-If you use oral contraceptive pills

Discontinue the exercise regime if you experience the following:
-Chest pain,Dizziness
-Pain in right arm.
-Shortness of breath.
-Fatigue
So Aerobic exercises can help you to control blood pressure.
