Poetry: Homosexuality

Anthem of Pride

It was a kiss like I have never known.
Now I know my way.
A road paved in stone,
with a promise of a brighter day.
I try to close my eyes,
and ignor the things they say.
They are only telling lies,
and hiding behind their fear.
If my only crime is love
for that I will pay a price.
Surviving through tears I have cried.
The world may turn it's back,
but it can never take my pride.
I wont walk the road alone,
and I have learned to live my life.
