Company policies are set by those in charge, and by disagreeing, you can look like a problem employee in many cases.
However, we can assume that those that make policy have enough intellect to rise above jumping to that conclusion, assuming that your disagreement makes good sense.
If your concerns are for personal reasons, then just forget it.
But should you see a problem that causes financial loss, or inefficiency in operations, or anything else relative to the company running smoothly, then by all means put together a detailed outline of what you've come up with to provide a solution along with the disagreement.
Be prepared by numbers to show how much the company can gain or is losing by present policy.
Be prepared to offer an alternative that can be considered that would permit present policy and what you disagree with to go hand and hand without a total revision of their policy.
Make sure you cover all the plus and minuses before you submit your disagreement as it can make you look awfully inept when they tell you that although your idea sounds good......and then they give you all the reasons it won't work.
You have to be ahead of them.
Do that, and maybe you'll be considered next in line for policy making.
