How to handle a cheating lover

I don't really believe that there is a way to handle a cheating lover it is up to you to decide whether or not you are prepared to forgive that person for cheating on you, and whether you can trust them not to do it again.
I have been cheated on and I chose to forgive that person, unfortunately, I could forgive him but I could not forget how bad the cheating had made me feel and things were never the same again as we had lost that element of trust. Once you doubt someone, you will always have doubts!
Some people are able to forgive a cheater and can continue to have a very strong and close relationship as they sit down and talk about the reasons for the infidelity but personally think that there is always a reason why someone cheats and you need to overcome these reasons either together, or break up and deal with them apart.
