stressed?
You could see that as a "worst that can happen" stress technique if you want. But I'd like to expand that technique with the classic technique, "so if you were actually going to explode later today, what would you like to do now?"
Ok so maybe that's the "distract your self and your stress with good stuff instead" stress management technique. Furonically I don't care now ;-)
So sure! Stress happens. It's not a disease. You're not alone. There's no shame or pride in it. It's more of a self inflicted reaction than an illness. It just happens.
NO! I'm not going to say "get over it" or "live with it". I'm not even going to say "embrace it" or "accept as a sign" that you need to relax, rethink your values, or change your environment.
All I am going to say is to re-iterate one thing. It's visible in many doctrines, including Reiki. And I've already said it a minute ago.
Concentrate on doing what you could./should be doing with all that time that stress is taking up. "Live for today. For the day after tomorrow, you may be dead."
Time is finite. You can never get back the time you spent stressing. So do what ever little you can, to do that thing. It may be stressful! There will be more stress involved. But if you're stressed, at least you know you are alive.
Oh all right then. And don't forget to breathe. Big breath in. Hold it. SLOWLY breathe out. Do this a few more times. Close your eyes. Think of a warm energy slowly hugging your entire body, from tip to toe and back.
See world poverty is solved now and no one will ever cry in pain again. Hmm..
But seriously, it is amazing how we forget to do something as simple as breathing deeply and posture.
OK put your clothes back on now and take comfort n the knowledge, that if that was the worst thing that could happen, it's over now ;-)
But if you do think that, please re-read this article, as you've missed my entire point LOL. My fault not yours. So don't get stressed about it
I genuinely hope you benefit from reading this! At least I have distracted you for the past few moments. If I have somehow made you angry, from reading such a stupid article, that I don't have an auto-fix cure that will work for you, then but "hey isn't anger different to stress?"
Depression, Stress, Now Anger.
God you humans are so "fickle" and fragile..
