Our arms and legs are interconnected with each other and with the trunk of the body through joints. These joints are responsible for flexion and extension, some even rotation. The proper functioning of those joints can be negatively affected through accidents and injuries, anatomical imbalances, acidosis and nutrition.
The cushioning device within the joints that is filled with synovial fluid degenerates and the debilitating cycle of osteoarthritis starts. It commonly starts with cracking sounds within the joint, later on followed by inflammation. The later stages are marked by the degeneration of cartilage. At that time the sufferer usually deals with more pain and a decrease in joint flexibility. This will cause the muscle to harden and lose tonicity. In a patient that suffers of knee osteoarthritis, it is the hamstring muscle that shows shortened tissue which will further put pressure on the hip all the way up to the neck, usually affecting that whole side.
To this day there is no cure for osteoarthritis as it is believed that this debilitating process can't be stopped but only slowed down with advanced techniques and proper diet. I am not a doctor. Nevertheless, as a very passionate Massage Therapist and Wellness Coach I want to share with you how I have helped someone reverse their osteoarthritis.
My husband is now 50. He was a professional hockey player for many years. Unfortunately, he had quite a few hits during his career and had damaged his right knee not just once. Eventually, he was diagnosed with arthritis, later on with osteoarthritis. He lost flexibility in the knee joint and was usually in pain after a day of skiing or hiking. His doctor kept telling him that he would have to remove lose cartilage again and had also advised him that probably within a few years it would be time for a total knee replacement.
His knee did not look healthy at all. He was in pain and was checking into alternative therapies to prolong the time before he had to go into surgery.
Just by accident I ran into a client who told me about a sensational ancient healing plant which had removed calcification within his hands. When he told me that this plant was Aloe Vera, I immediately could tell him what I knew about it. Nevertheless, it turned out that I did not really know much about the healing capacity of this plant.
