There is plenty of choice in exercises without running to get a good workout. It is important to choose one which you like; otherwise you will lose interest and you can't afford anymore to exercise regularly. Your current health condition is important to select the right exercises for you and a doctor may help you to decide which exercises are good for you. Exercise is necessary to burn calories and to improve your health. Maybe a variety of different exercises is the best solution to get a good workout.
