One of the challenges of summertime is trying to keep agitating insects away such as the rapidly multiplying and ever returning mosquito. It is believed that every creature on this planet has a reason for existence. Nevertheless, researchers are still uncertain why we have to deal with the annoying mosquito.
Depending on the area of the world you are in they can carry violent viruses that are easily transferred onto humans once bitten. Unfortunately we don't feel mosquitoes on us until it is too late. The area where they poked us starts itching. Once we scratch we activate the spreading of the toxin increasing the severity of the itch.
Luckily there are plenty of products to choose from that somehow keep those nasty insects away. Unfortunately they don't all work that well. There are the zappers that you can set up in your backyard but as soon as you are too far away from the zapper you increase the chances of being bitten again. Citronella candles do work as well but not on a far radius. Besides they do not give off the most pleasant smell.
There is one more option available on the market and that is mosquito spray, usually containing DEED. While these sprays truly work, they are really not the smartest choice. These sprays do protect us from possible dangers but they are loaded with toxins that do not have positive effects on the health of our body. On the contrary, they can cause toxin overload, slow down our immune system, create intestinal problems, etc.
Luckily there is one more option that will not only protect you from mosquitoes but also nourish your skin and body all at once. This product was used thousands of years ago by ancient cultures to protect the skin and to clear intestinal and other internal health problems.
Native Americans used to rub their entire body with it before walking through damp areas that were infested with mosquitoes. I even tried it on my kids. They did not encounter an entire mosquito bite. This amazing product is pure Aloe Vera Gel, straight out of the leaf of the aloe vera plant.
If you don't have an aloe vera plant in your backyard, you don't need to worry. You can buy pure aloe vera gel from distributors. Don't use cheap products from grocery stores that claim to have a bit of aloe in it. Those products won't work. It needs to be 100% pure aloe vera gel. Best of all, your skin will not only be protected from insects but it will receive necessary moisture usually lost during hot summer days.
