Social media has become a vital part in modern society. Many people use it, not just the youth and teens but also many adults. Even though so many people are now using social media, not many of them know how to use it safe. So the outcome is that many fall victims of either thefts or gets themselves into unwanted trouble over social media.

Facebook brought fortune to Mark Zuckerberg. But it also brought disaster to many others. In fact, it is now proven that Facebook has been a leading cause for many recent divorce cases. Many affairs have broken, family lives ruined and many people either got fired from jobs or not hired for jobs, all due to their actions on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.

So what are the things you can do to ruin yourself online? Here are some of the things you need to keep in mind while working with social media.

It’s easy to find someone to share your problems online, but the consequences are not always pleasant.

3) Criticizing work and boss

Something you must never ever do online is criticizing your work or boss. There are so many people reading what you post online and it can easily pass on to someone in your workplace. And many people have lost their jobs this way. You may be careful enough not to post anything bad about your boss. But after a bad day you may call your girlfriend and take your entire wrath about your boss with her. She may then post on wall, “We all know how mean your boss is, so no need to worry!” And that’s it!

4) Unwanted photos

You may get quite drunk and act so crazy at a party. You may be glad that you made it alive out of the place. And the last thing you need is having photos of the event online for everybody to
